Florida Property Detectives is a full service home inspection company serving the entire First Coast region of Florida, including Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Our professional home inspectors have extensive training and experience and are licensed through the State of Florida. In addition to Full Home Inspections, we offer Mold testing, Wind Mitigation & Four Point Insurance Inspections, as well as Pool & Spa Inspections.

We also offer WDO/Termite Inspections through our partnership with 20/20PI. We are committed to understanding and meeting customer expectations while exceeding industry and community standards. Meet Darin
Darin conducts home inspections for F.P.D. He has many years of general construction experience including home electrical and framing. He is a current Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation licensed home inspector and a member of the Florida Association of Building Inspectors (FABI), and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI).

Darin is a Certified Professional Inspector and is qualified in full home, wood destroying organisms (termites), mold, wind mitigation, 4-point, pool and spa, and infrared inspections. He has extensive training from the Professional Home Inspection Institute and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors.

Darin has a Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and was a police officer for 22 years in both Maryland and Florida. He has also worked for the Department of State and the Department of Defense at the US embassy in Olso, Norway.
